Nud's Mk1 Mexico Cosworth

Here's Nud's Mk1 Mexico which has just come out of the paint shop at LW Smart Repairs where it was prepared and treated to a mint paint job in Ford Daytona Yellow.

The car will run a 2 litre Cosworth Turbo mated to a yet to be decided gearbox and full width atlas axle to help fill the superb steel arches which have been expertly grafted on.

Over the course of the last two years Nud has spent ages in the garage fitting a full Safety Devices weld in roll cage,seat rails, tank platform, turretting the rear and six linking the car as well as restoring and strengthening the bodywork. A gearbox tunnel out of an auto model and a diff tunnel have also been fitted to maximise available space for the running gear. The car will run on coil over front and rear suspension with a Watts linkage keeping the axle true. I think with the combination of the daytona paintwork, orange Mexico stripes and Superlights Wheels to fill them arches, Nud's onto a winner!
