Mk1 Road Car Build

Here's some photos of a Mk1 I've got waiting in the garage to rebuild/restore. I've had it a while but lack of space and time and the need to fix my rally car has meant it has not been touched yet.

I have bought some repair parts for it including full length inner wing tops from Expressed Panels, the majority of the type 49 strengthening parts that the RS type Mk1s had (thanks to Pete!), a pair of S/H steel wings with steel RS arches grafted on (need redoing though), underwing pans and verticals for both sides and a new front panel and slam panel.

I have also purchased a low mileage 1600 crossflow and a set of fishnet recaros in black betacloth for the interior.

I'm still collecting parts for it so if you have anything I might be interested in please email me at a.brannan@sky.com

The intention for this one is to build a road car for messing around with and going to shows etc as the Mk2 rally car's gearing means this cannot be used. Also the car is an early one which means it's tax exempt which is a bonus.
